Kensico School

About
Kensico School has 17 classes plus one self-contained special education class. Each grade has its own wing and many of the rooms have exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings. There is a large cafeteria, beautiful library, state of the art computer lab, science room, expansive music facilities, stage and a competition size gymnasium that is also utilized for the Volleyball and Basketball programs at Valhalla Middle/High School. The school grounds include a large playground area, basketball hoops, a walking track and baseball/softball fields.

The school will demonstrate an attitude and atmosphere that will provide the best educational environment for students with a variety of differences. The highest priority is given to improvements in the learning process for school students during their adolescence years. The school works on developmental characteristics of each student while offering an educational environment, which is designed to help students realize their creative, intellectual, physical, and emotional potential.
