John G. Dinkelmeyer School character development has an integral role in the educational philosophy and curriculum. The children learn to assess their own behaviors with our Levels of Behavior and have found that recess can be peaceful when they participate in the many passive playground games they have been taught in their physical education classes. Maintaining a respectful environment is critical in enabling the children to focus on the task at hand, which is to learn the curriculum and to learn to be good citizens in society. The John G. Dinkelmeyer staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
