John F. Kennedy Middle School hopes each student takes advantage of their extra-curricular activities, including a well-rounded athletic program, enjoyable building events and enriching field trips. No matter what involvement a child chooses, they want every student to have a middle level experience that prepares them for future academic endeavors. John F. Kennedy has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity. The educational programs provide a broad range to meet the needs and talents of the diverse population. The staff and teachers strive to instill self-esteem, respect for others, and the appreciation of learning. Along with this the teachers are committed to a high standard of professionalism while creating an educational atmosphere that is open minded, with values of communication and support.
