John A. Sciole Elementary School is located at 86 Alys Drive East Depew, NY. John A. Sciole Elementary School provides education to grades K through 3 under the supervision of the Lancaster Central School District Board of Education. The School Board consists of seven members, elected at-large, by the voters of the district. John A. Sciole Elementary is located in Erie County, in Western New York State, about eleven miles east of downtown Buffalo.
The John A. Sciole staff members work hard every day to do whatever it takes to help students be successful! The daily mission is to educate all students to meet the challenges of an unknown future, giving them the skills they will need to solve problems, work together, continue to learn throughout their lifetime, and contribute positively to their communities.
School officials believe that all children can learn, the schools success is seen by the success of its students, it takes the entire community to educate children, the school must make have a relationship or a bond with each child, parents need to share in the responsibility of educating their children, students need to accept responsibility for their own learning and their actions, and the school environment should be welcoming, safe, and respectful.
