J.H.S. 144 Michelangelo officials labors to pave the foundation for each student to attain the highest possible level of academic, social, physical and emotional development. Accepting the premise that all children can learn, their school community will provide a supportive environment which will nurture and encourage thinking, learning and creating. Each child will leave the building with a sense of success, achievement and high self-esteem. J.H.S. 144 is technology driven and strives to provide the best and most current technology, standards and equipment, for the educational development of students and tools for our teachers and staff. The curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
