J.H.S. 143 E. Roosevelt Junior High School officials, faculty members and support staff are devoted to creating a challenging, rewarding and safe learning environment for all students. Technology innovations have be incorporated into the entire district with computers available in classrooms. Parents will be awed by the level of professionalism established by the teachers, staff, and administrators. Teachers are helping students be responsible citizens with good self esteem and a serious thinker is the utmost goal. The staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students. Reading Aloud gives teachers and students an opportunity to enjoy literature together. Teachers read to students for the same reasons that they talk with them: to reassure, to entertain, to inform or explain, to arouse curiosity and to inspire.
