Tecumseh Elementary School is a community of adults and children who respect and care about each other. It is a place where they all take responsibility for our actions while cooperating to produce the best quality work every day. They acknowledge the uniqueness of all individuals with skills and talents that help to make Tecumseh so diverse. The dedicated professional staff, as well as the devoted paraprofessionals and support staff, is committed to making a positive difference in each of our students' lives by providing a strong academic program while also being sensitive to the needs of the individual learner. Our commitment to providing a solid core curriculum is evident in our strong literacy and mathematics programs. In addition to our focus on academic achievement, students also participate in a rich fine arts and athletic program.
Tecumseh Elementary School Parent Teacher Group (PTG) is an important part of their team effort in educating all children. Parent volunteers assist staff in numerous ways throughout the school year, including volunteering in classrooms, helping to organize materials and events, in addition to providing support for special field trips, student assembly programs, and an after-school program.
