Jamestown High School is located at 350 East Second Street Jamestown, NY. This High School is the only one located in the Jamestown City School District of Chautauqua County in New York State. It provides education for grades 9-12. This school has other facilities that include a Guidance Career Center, several computer labs, library, two gymnasiums and a full size swimming pool. Local scholarships totaling over $120,000 are given annually to JHS graduates. Students are involved in a variety of Advanced Placement classes in the areas of English, mathematics, science, art, and social studies.
The Jamestown High School athletic department offers a wide variety of athletic participation to students in grades 9-12. The department is comprised of 25 varsity sports with 69 different teams and 86 coaching positions. The football team has won three state championships, and Jamestown High School is a member of the Erie County Interscholastic Conference and the Chautauqua County Athletic Association.
This High School has one of the premier athletic facilities in all of New York State.
