Jackson Annex School staff, faculty, and the administration support the mission statement and the goals set forth by the Hempstead Board of Education that every student will be provided with several opportunities in order to succeed. Jackson School believes that success is not only measured by a student’s level of intelligence but that success includes the whole child. Holistic learning is verified by differentiated and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching.
The school uses vast learning styles and ratings tailored for the individual student. Jackson Annex School is working together with teachers, staff, and parents to create the best learning environment whereas each student will achieve a quality education. Sub-committees are working to improve the quality of education throughout the school with emphasis on technology and library areas.
