Island Trees Middle School recognizes that each child brings their own strengths, talents, capacities. The opportunities to show this uniqueness are important in the development of the whole-child. There are over thirty clubs and after-school activities, as well as full interscholastic sports programs. The school is tremendously committed to implementing programs that afford children the opportunity to grow academically, socially, emotionally, behaviorally, morally, and ethically.
Island Trees Middle School has several different cultures and religions attending this New York Public School so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching these young minds and prepare them for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects.
