About  
Island Trees High School fosters the development of life-long learners who will become dynamic contributors in a technical and diverse society. The district is engaged in an active joint venture with students, parents, educators and the community in creating a demanding and rigorous academic atmosphere where all students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to relevant responsibilities that will assist them in becoming responsible members of the community.

Island Trees High School provides a comprehensive, integrated curriculum delivered in a nurturing and orderly environment by qualified staff that believes that all children can learn. The School aims to develop in all students a desire to increase their knowledge and use this knowledge to the full extent of their potential in order to better understand themselves, their fellow men and their surroundings, as well as to encourage appreciation and respect toward them.
