Hs 560X - Bronx Academy High School strives to ensure all students enjoy learning thus becoming lifelong learners in a world that is changing through technology and communication. The staff, administration, and teachers encourage students to develop such qualities as self-confidence and respect for others and themselves through various programs. With all the wonderful programs that teach students to be part of a team as well as becoming self thinkers students will be able to excel and becoming contributing members of their community and society. Students learn skills such as problem solving, predicting, observing, drawing conclusions, and comparing. Teachers meet students where they are, and lesson plans are differentiated to ensure success. The Diploma Plus/Portfolio Based Curriculum allows the student as well as the teachers to track progress regularly.
