Howitt School is committed to providing a safe and orderly school environment where students may receive and district personnel may deliver quality educational services without disruption or interference. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. Students enjoy all the basic educational courses along with the chance to compete in the local science fair and other community activities and events.
Howitt School is working together with teachers, staff, and parents to create the best learning environment whereas each student will achieve a quality education. Sub-committees are working to improve the quality of education throughout the school with emphasis on technology and library areas. The Howitt School has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty, integrity, responsibility.
