Howard T. Herber Middle School

Howard T. Herber Middle School provides students a nurturing and forgiving atmosphere in which they are encouraged to take risks and yet feel secure within a consistent and supportive educational structure. The Howard T. Herber Middle School staff and teachers realize these years can be the toughest of students. The change from elementary school and the transition needed to enter high school can be very discouraging for students that are not prepared. Because of this, teachers and staff work side by side to ensure each and every student can achieve their goal and succeed in all they endeavor from making friends to academics.

Along with the basic educational needs, social needs are also addressed with such fun activities as bonfires, dances, festivals, and other events. This helps each student not only excel in the learning process but aids him or her in becoming productive members of the community.
