Hoosic Valley Senior High School is located at Route 67 Schaghticoke, NY and it serves grades 9-12. This School is proud to be apart of a District and they apply the common philosophy set forth by the school board which is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society. They will encourage individual excellence by students of all ages so that they may gain a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and work.
At this school learning technologies are widely and equitably used in every school building to support the engagement of students, teachers, administrators, parents, and the community in helping all students to achieve high standards. Educational technology applications will deepen student engagement and improve student achievement by enabling them to access and analyze information, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their thoughts and ideas. Effective use of learning technologies will allow students to become self-directed, self-motivated and lifelong learners.
