Homer Central High School is located at 80 South West Street Homer, NY. This school serves the community of Homer for its education needs for grades 9 through 12 in Cortland County, New York. At this Senior High School guidance counselors assist students in many ways during the school year. Some examples of the concerns discussed with counselors are college selection, interpretation of test results, grades, course selection, study habits, and other matters of personal importance.

Quiz Team is very popular at Homer Senior High School as it allows some of Homer’s academically motivated students to test their knowledge against their peers while working as a team. Teams of students from surrounding school districts compete against one another answering questions in all content areas including math, science, literature, arts, current and world events.

To Graduate and receive a diploma students are expected to take FIVE subjects each year in addition to physical education and earn at least 22 units of credit to receive a New York State diploma.
