Hillview Elementary School is located at 11 Pleasantview Drive Lancaster, NY. Hillview School provides education to grades K through 3 under the supervision of the Lancaster Central School District Board of Education. The School Board consists of seven members, elected at-large, by the voters of the district. Hillview School is located in Erie County, in Western New York State, about eleven miles east of downtown Buffalo.
Hillview is a dynamic school with a strong emphasis on academic excellence. The instructional strategies and techniques the staff implements are carefully balanced with the developmental needs of the children. They have children in the fall as young as four years old. In grade three, the oldest student may be nine years old after January. We are very cognizant of the age of the children and focused on the protection of childhood.
There are three top priorities at Hillview. The first is the safety of the children. The second area is self-esteem and the development of self-confidence. The third area is uninterrupted instructional time.
