High School Math Science and Engineering school answers the call to raise a new generation of technical talent, as well as, more scientifically literate citizens. Graduates of High School Math Science and Engineering possess and use the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind necessary to pursue post-secondary education, technical training, and chosen career paths. Curriculum incorporates themes which integrate creative problem solving and higher order thinking skills while simultaneously addressing primary curriculum instruction in an aesthetically pleasing environment. The teachers rejoice over students achievements whenever possible; seek win-win solutions to all problems; and value honesty, caring, effort, individual and collective responsibility, and respect for one’s self and the people with whom they come into contact with. Policies of the School are set forth and advise students, parents, employees and the general public that it offers employment and educational opportunities, including vocational education opportunities without regard to sex, race, color, national origin or handicap.
