Herricks High School is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association. Cultural diversity enriches the school community, educational environment and extracurricular programs. Sixty-Nine different languages are spoken by Herricks High School students and 51% of the students come from homes where English is not the primary language spoken. Herricks High School provides a vast range of challenging academic programs to the student body where each student can and will achieve success within their own abilities to become productive members of society.
The environment at Herricks High School provides one that will build responsibility, productivity, and involved citizens who possess self-esteem, a love of learning and respect for self and others. The goal of Hamburg High School is to provide students with several opportunities to learn and grow with varied and abundant courses with a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, activities, and inter-scholastic sports. They encourage each student to become involved in all they have to offer.
