Herkimer Elementary School is located at 255 Gros Boulevard Herkimer, NY. This Elementary School takes care of the educational needs for the citizens of the Herkimer. Herkimer Elementary School is the only Elementary School in the Herkimer Central School District and grades K through 6 are taught there.
Herkimer Elementary School works to ensure the success of the Technology Plan, and the school uses the District Mission Statement along with the New York State Learning Standards, the No Child Left behind Act (NCLB), and the Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA) as a guiding principal.
Herkimer Elementary School knows that each student is an important member of our school community, and the faculty and staff will work cooperatively to create an education environment in which all students have the opportunity to experience success in all aspects of their school life. The school considers parents to be partners with them in the education of their students.
There are several different cultures and religions attending Herkimer Elementary School so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching and preparing students for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects
