Herbert H. Lehman High School teachers foster students in academic programs that include Law & Psychology; College Prep Program; Academy for Computer Technology; Performing Arts Program including stagecraft & video; Pre-Engineering Program; Advanced Placement. Teachers provide instructions in a nurturing, supportive manner so they student have every opportunity to excel in their studies. The Herbert H. Lehman High School staff knows that they are capable of excellence and, together, with parents, teachers, students, administrators and the community, they have created programs and policies that support and encourage students to reach higher, to try harder, and to achieve more than would otherwise be possible.
