Heim Middle School is located at 175 Heim Road Williamsville, NY. Heim Middle school facility is apart of the Williamsville Central School District and provides education for grades 5 through 8. Heim Middle School is a partnership among the students, parents, staff and community. Officials are dedicated to creating an environment which promotes student achievement and nurtures healthy character development in order to prepare students to become productive and contributing members of society.
Heim Middle School knows that technology is a valuable educational tool; one which enhances student learning at all levels and expands the scope of the curriculum in many innovative ways. Educators all agree that understanding of and access to technology is vital in the educational plan for all students. Students are given the opportunity to learn competencies in using technology as a tool for gathering, using and manipulating information, as well as for communication and creative expression.
Therefore Heim Middle School makes use of computer technology standards to identify information and technology competencies for all students throughout the 5th to 8th grade curriculum. These competencies are designed to be integrated into the various content and skill areas of the school curriculum. The focus is on learning with information and technology rather than learning about information and technology.
