Heim Elementary school facility is apart of the Williamsville Central School District and provides education for grades K through 4. This school is committed to providing a safe and orderly school environment where students may receive and district personnel may deliver quality educational services without disruption or interference. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other District personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal.
The school provides the necessary resources to prevent behaviors that interfere with a student's development, to intervene when appropriate, and to provide support services to assist all students in their development. Heim Elementary School provides a comprehensive Youth Wellness Program provides Education/Prevention, Intervention/Referral, and Support Services. Although programs and activities vary from school to school, all promote asset building and positive life choices for students.
There is a 23-member committee of parents, students, teachers, community members, and an administrator oversees this proactive student assistance program. The Youth Wellness Council ensures that a set of minimum programs and activities are carried out across this school along with the rest of the district. A Youth Wellness Facilitator is identified in each school to coordinate programs and activities with student needs.
