Haverling Senior High School

About
Haverling Senior High School is located at 25 Ellas Avenue Bath, NY serving grades 9-12 in Steuben County. At Haverling Senior High, students are encouraged to follow an academic program that will challenge and expand their interests and goals. Opportunities exist for students of all ability levels. The majority of students with special needs are included in general education classes with appropriate support and interventions to allow for their success in these classes. All students are encouraged to pursue a regent’s course of study at Haverling to whatever extent possible. Advanced placement or ACE courses are offered in every academic discipline.

Strong offerings in Art, Music, Business and Technology as well as vocational studies provide for a well-rounded education for all and more detailed study for students with interest in these areas. Haverling works cooperatively with the Career Development Council to structure job partnerships and career exploration.
Extracurricular experiences available to our students include a full array of athletic teams, a County Championship Academic All Stars Team, Instrumental and Vocal Music programs, Drama Club, Student Government and Project Care to mention a few.

The High School teachers who provide the educational challenges at this level work diligently to ensure our program is aligned with State Standards and Assessments. A hybrid Block Schedule is utilized which enhances the structure of the school day so students may apply knowledge of brain-based research in the most beneficial manner possible.
