Hauppauge Middle School provides complete comprehensive academic and interscholastic programs. Its music program is regionally recognized and so is their special educational program. Students are encouraged to think in a critical way about how they deal with other people and how they wish to handled by others. The Teachers are committed to excellence of preparing children to be life long learners and contributors to the future. Hauppauge Middle School is governed by the Hauppauge Union Free School District Board of Education whom is committed to educating individuals to become responsible, tolerant, and productive members of a changing society. The responsibility for this mission is jointly shared by the Board of Education, the school staff, parents, students, and the community. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. Hauppauge Middle School has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions.
