Harlem Renaissence High School teachers meet students where they are, and lesson plans are differentiated to ensure success. The success of Harlem Renaissance High School is contingent our ability to create successful partnerships. Classes are arranged using the portfolio-based workshop structure. Students have the standard classes to meet the State and Regents requirements from the Math, Science, and English Departments, for example. They also have the opportunity to explore their creative side and learn new ways to express themselves with various electives or Music or Performing Arts class. The traditional Academic Departments like Arts, English Math, Science etc complimented by technology based electives that tie them together, making them relevant to the students.
