Hampton Bays Elementary School is the only elementary school in the district providing an exceptional education for students in the are while preparing them for the rest of their school years and on toward adulthood.
The staff and teachers at Hampton Bays Elementary School believe that every student is unique and guided in order for their full potential come to the surface. They provide a supportive, caring, and nurturing environment so each student can be the best they can be through quality education that is geared toward the student as an individual instead of as a group. The vision at Hampton Bays Elementary School is to instill a love of learning that will follow the students throughout their educational years and on into their life. All programs are designed for the education of the whole student and to encourage intellectual curiosity, find the hidden talents of each student and celebrate diversity.
Along with their own goals for each student, they adhere to the mission and vision of the Hampton Bays Union Free School District along with working with parents and the community to ensure the success of every student. The PTA is a huge part of parent interaction that allows not only the parents but also the community to become a part of the education of all students.
