Greenport High School

About
Greenport High School course of study meets the requirements and recommendations of the New York State Education Department. Within the framework of the diploma requirements, there are options to meet the needs of all students. The Teachers encourage students to advance studies that go beyond the minimum requirements for the diploma. The staff knows that it is imperative to identify what each student knows and what skills he or she can demonstrate. Once this has been accomplished then additional growth will take place. Curriculum, instruction, and assessment are the three main variables that need to be realized in order to provide the most effective teaching/learning environment.
