Great Neck South Middle School is actively working with all children to provide a foundation for students to reach their maximum potential through comprehensive, exact standards to opportunities to allow children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens. There are several educational programs that are being used with the goal of encouraging the growth and development of every student’s personal interests and capabilities.
The school library is one of vast resources helping students excel in all subjects especially reading and comprehension. Fundamental learning skills are the focus Reading, Math, and English Language Arts are at the top of the basic skills.
Students at this school are involved in some type of music programs offered along with a wonderful science lab.
