About  
Great Neck South High School is committed to offering the students an environment free from distraction and interruption, where development of the mind and body are a priority and where students are given the necessary tools to prepare them to be integral and successful members of the community. Part of that commitment comes in the form of the Code of Conduct and other disciplinary plans and procedures to insure the environment here remains safe and free from as many distractions as possible.

Technology maximizes productivity and efficiency and enables schools to better prepare students for future learning. This includes the ability to access, analyze and communicate information, think critically and creatively and work cooperatively and productively with others. Families are welcomed to a very proud and friendly school. Students enjoy very ideal class room sizes and are taught by outstanding teachers in learning areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
