This school provides education to grades 9 through 12 with a common mission to foster academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility. Technology is focused on providing high-quality learning resources in all classrooms and facilitating communication between all learners.

Grand Island Senior High School has comprehensive academic programs provide each student with a strong foundation in the core curricula areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning.

Grand Island Senior High School acknowledges that individual should be given the opportunity to develop and achieve knowledge, skills and values to the maximum extent possible. Parents, community groups, teachers, and administrators, will continue to work together to provide a well-rounded education for the students of our school.
