Gloversville High School is located at 199 Lincoln Street in Gloversville, New York. This is the only public high school in the Gloversville City School District, which provides an excellent education for students in ninth through 12th grades.
The mission statement of Gloversville High School states, “The mission of Gloversville High School is to provide instructional experiences which use the resources of the school, home, and community to maximize individual achievement and develop the skills and talents of all students.”
“We intend to promote individual responsibility for learning, self-direction, and the positive attitude toward individual differences necessary for successful participation in our global society.”
Along with adhering to their own mission statement, they work alongside each student to ensure success in all fields of study. Besides offering the best in educational tools and resources Gloversville High School provides several extra curricular activities including Biology/Greenhouse Club, Choir Club, Computer Club, Distributive Education Clubs of America, Foreign Language Club, Jazz Band, Key Club, Rapid Recall Club, Scitamard, Student Government Association, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Student Library Assistants, Student Newspaper, Technology Club, and the Yearbook Club.
Students attending Gloversville High School have the chance for being recognized by receiving various awards including Gloversville High School Honors Courses, State Regents Diploma with Honors, Gloversville High School Exemplary Honors, Laura Moyer Chapter of the National Honor Society, Laurel G. Award, and the Principal’s Award.
