Glenmont Elementary School PTA enables the children to participate in enrichment activities, additional educational assemblies and programs, and exciting social events. The students participate in regular assemblies teaching and modeling themes throughout the year, as well as philanthropy projects to help others in the greater community.
The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. Parents with children attending this public School enjoy the, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement.
Each year, students are given new opportunities to expand their minds and knowledge base, as the environment of the school responds to changes in culture and anticipates future developments. The school applies common philosophies set forth by the school community which is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society. Officials work to ensure the curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students.
