Glen Cove Middle School enrichment programs are offered to students at this school, as well as a choice of three foreign languages. The school is known for its award winning music program. It was also one of the first middle schools in the nation to institute team teaching, an approach which has been highly successful and continues to serve as a model for other districts.
The staff and other school officials have high expectations for students and hope that through their years at Glen Cove, they will walk away with a solid foundation to go on to their high school experience and beyond. The teachers are all content certified by New York State and are very knowledgeable and skilled in their respective fields and enjoy working with adolescents.
