The Geneseo Central Middle School/ High School Program for grades 6-12 provides a unique setting in which students are assisted in understanding their personal needs and responsibilities. The students are taught through a multi-disciplinary team approach utilizing many innovative teaching and scheduling techniques. The program provides for maximum growth in basic learning skills, as well as an understanding of the materials, practices, and ideas of various disciplines. A carefully designed support structure helps Students Bridge the gap between childhood and adolescence.
Students are encouraged to develop independent learning skills and explore special interests. Extracurricular activities for the students include: Student Council, Peer Mediation, Science Club, National Junior Honor Society, MS Mathletics, Academic Challenge Bowl, MS Chess Club, Ski Club, Art Club, and Odyssey of the Mind, Show Choir, Page Turners and Interscholastic Sports. There is also a wide range of after school intramural athletic activities. There is a full range of music options: band, orchestra, chorus, show choir, jazz band and colorguard.
