Frederick Douglas Academy Iii Secondary School provides basic core studies for students in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math. Methods of education are set forth by District # 9 and the school system uses these curricula’s to increase student achievements in a significant manner. Academy teaching strategy is base on fundamental building blocks, designed to help them become independent and mature. These blocks support good personal traits like; gaining independence, becoming problem solvers, being good members of a community, and studying and learning in groups or by themselves. The Officials and Parents of the Frederick Douglas Academy community work together to assist in many ways with school support.
