Family Life Academy Charter School has a challenging and enriching curriculum that supports children in becoming critical thinkers and in obtaining the skills necessary to compete in our world. They believe in diversity and embrace families from all cultures that speak a language other than English. Students at FLACS are empowered to affirm others through words, deeds and actions. Family Life Academy Charter is committed to engaging all families in becoming active partners in the success of its students. The school creates frequent opportunities for families to learn about the work of the school and the progress of their children. Families are also able to volunteer and become involved in the daily activities of Family Life such as lunch time, classroom reading times, and helping out in the front office. There are also family-led committees such as the Action Team for Partnerships and the Family Advisory Committee that enable parents to have an impact on the policies of the school.
