East High School is located at 1801 East Main Street Rochester, NY. This Public school is governed by the Rochester City School District Board of Education and it serves the community of Rochester, New York, in Monroe County. The School Board is comprised of unpaid officials elected by the voters to take the formal legal actions and establish the basic policies for the conduct of the schools.

Students who successfully complete the program and earn their teaching certification are guaranteed jobs in the Rochester City School District. Business, Computers & Finance Institute focuses on careers in Finance, Information Technology and General Business with opportunities to gain real-life employment skills. Math & Science Institute allows students to specialize in Pure Science, Naval Science or Computer Science.
Humanities Institute offers concentrations in Art, Music and World Languages (including American Sign Language) and it serves grades 7 through 12.
