East Hampton High School

About
East Hampton High School students must learn acceptable behavior and be aware of the consequences when behaviors are not those expected. East Hampton’s goal of academic proficiency exist side-by-side with the humane practice of mutual caring, respect for the dignity of every individual, and the nurturing of each person's self-esteem. The student understands that the virtue of self-reliance must be tempered by awareness of his/her need for others and that the success and happiness of each person is inextricably linked to the success and happiness of all with whom life's projects are shared. Along with extra-curricular activities such as athletics, students enjoy other subjects of learning such as Science, Social Studies, Math, Physical Education, and Technology. The school applies common philosophies set forth by the school community which is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society.
