About  
Earl L Vandermeulen High School is proud of its students’ record of accomplishment. An impressive percentage of students go on to college. The school has 40 vocational courses is available through the Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES). Partnerships are available with SUNY Stony Brook, Syracuse University and Long Island University as well as St. Charles and Mather Hospitals in Port Jefferson. The High School also has an exemplary internship program. A key factor in Earl L success is the involvement of parents in their children’s education. Regardless of their cultural background or their dominant language, parents feel welcome and supported at the school. Students are excited about learning and motivated to become lifelong learners. The school staff knows technology in the broadest sense is the application of modern communications and computing technologies to the creation, management and use of knowledge.
