P.S. 18 Dr. Antonia Pantoja Community School Of Academic Excellence is located at 118 Hampshire Street Buffalo, NY. Currently this school serves approximately 500 students in pre-K through grade 8. Dr. Pantoja was the first Hispanic recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and a strong proponent of bilingual education. Bilingual Spanish/English classrooms exist for students in Kindergarten as well as grades 1, 2, 3, and 4. ESL services are available for students of all ages. Our student population currently represents over 30 countries.
Dr Antonia Pantoja Community School Of Academic Excellence holds dear their beliefs that all children can learn, the schools success is seen by the success of its students, it takes the entire community to educate children, the school must make have a relationship or a bond with each child, parents need to share in the responsibility of educating their children, students need to accept responsibility for their own learning and their actions, and the school environment should be welcoming, safe, and respectful.
