Depew Middle School is located at 5201 South Transit Road in Depew, New York. Depew Middle School is the only middle school in the Depew Union Free School District, which provides an education for students in 5th through 8th grades.
Teachers, staff, and the administration at Depew Middle School understand just how important students years are during this transitional phase of their education; leaving elementary school and in a few years advancing to high school. Due to this, students are respected as individuals while learning in a safe and nurturing environment that works with the whole student.
The mission and philosophy statement of Depew Middle School states, “The philosophy and mission of the Middle School is to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive period of development that will enable students to achieve to the best of their abilities. It will stress the development of the whole child by instilling in students a sense of positive self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence and a belief that each can succeed. A Depew Middle School, in cooperation with families, will provide students with the necessary academic and personal/social knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the middle-level grades, high school and beyond.”
