Located in the Albany City School District, the Delaware Community School (formerly PS 18) is located at 75 Park Avenue in Albany. Grades PK through 5th grades are taught here and the school received a brand new building in January of 2007. This school has always focused on the community and moving into a new building at the school’s original site will not change that. The Delaware Community School focuses on helping students recognize their creativity, build self confidence, and practice self discipline in order to meet their potential. The Dual Language Program, which offers instruction in both English and Spanish, is now located permanently at the Delaware Community School.
