Davis Middle School is a magnet school working with goals to provide all students with a quality education, which will enable them to meet and exceed the New York Standards and to be inspired to be life-long learners.The school; structure is divided into three magnets: Law Related Education, Management Business Awareness, and Global Studies. Each one is designed to operate as an independent unit with an assistant principal as the educational leader, a magnet leader, a guidance counselor, a seventh grade team leader, and an eighth grade team leader.
While educators believe that all students should reach their educational potential, the five assessments are a critical part of our educational program. Each department has developed strategies to accomplish this goal, which includes pre- and post practice exams, mastery of all the skills found on each of the exams, and developing model lesson plans for teachers in Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and Technology.
Davis Middle School Enrichment Program was designed to provide an alternative education for students who would benefit from a non-traditional setting. It will offer students an innovative curriculum, which will include major academic subjects, plus motivational activities.
