Coxsackie-Athens High School is located at 24 Sunset Boulevard Coxsackie, NY. This public school is situated in the Coxsackie-Athens Central School District and provides education opportunities for students in grades 9 through 12 for residents of Coxsackie New York, in Greene County. Technology plays an important role in the educational process at Coxsackie-Athens High School. The facilities include three computer labs, a media center, and an Auto-CAD lab. All classrooms include one to four computers for student and faculty use. In addition, each department has its own LCD projector and SmartBoard. Computers are also used to maintain student attendance and grades.
To complement our academic program, Coxsackie-Athens High School provides a variety of extra curricular activities for its students. Some of our more popular activities include Foreign Language Club, Interact, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, SADD, Student Council, World of Difference, and Yearbook.
Coxsackie-Athens students excel not only in the classroom, but also on the playing fields. Our students participate in 17 varsity sports in the fall including field hockey, football, golf, boy’s soccer, girl’s soccer, girl’s tennis, and girl’s volleyball. Winter sports include boy’s basketball, girl’s basketball, boy’s volleyball, wrestling, bowling, and cheerleading. In the spring, students participate in baseball, softball, boy’s tennis, and track and field. Most sports also have Modified and Junior Varsity teams, so students who are interested in a sport have wonderful opportunities to participate.
