Copenhagen Central School is located at 3020 Mechanic Street Copenhagen, NY and provides excellent education opportunities for grades K through 12 for the community of Copenhagen in Lewis County. This public school is part of the Copenhagen Central School District, which provides outstanding learning opportunities at every grade level. It’s Literacy at Vestal Hills Elementary is where they continue to focus on enhancing reading and writing instructions. The goal is to track student growth and continually identify areas of student needs. The staff is making a collaborative effort between our kindergarten and first grade in each department, school psychologist, speech pathologist, and reading to help teachers to identify and work with students in kindergarten and first grade who need more support in early literacy skills.
