Cooperstown Central High School is located at 39 Linden Avenue Cooperstown, NY and it serves grades 9-12 in Otsego County. Each year, close to 90% of its seniors go on to some form of post secondary education, with many entering challenging 4 year colleges and universities. Cooperstown Central High School offers 10 A.P. courses (The most of any school in the area) with over 50% of our seniors completing one or more challenged courses. Cooperstown continues to exceed the New York State Learning Standards benchmarks in all core areas and is always striving to ensure our students are ready for college, the military or work.
Along with their academic success, the students excel in many sports and extracurricular activities and are often involved in many Cooperstown area events.
At Cooperstown Central High School the staff and teachers work very hard to incorporate literacy learning in all areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
