Commack High School

About  
Commack High School is the only high school in Commack Union Free School District providing an excellent education to students in the area, which received the Blue Ribbon School of Excellence acknowledgement. The school offers thorough academic programs, several extracurricular activities, fine arts, athletics, and support services to aid each student in becoming productive members of their community and society as a whole. By providing an exceptional education, the Commack High School provides social and emotional development as well as academics so every student that passes through the doors will be able to enjoy their life and earn a prosperous quality of life at all levels.

The administration and staff work together to ensure that each student has the chance to possess characteristics of lifelong learners that are an active part of society as well as being compassionate for the world around them. Along with this, students are taught to be knowledgeable, self-thinkers, inquirers, principled, caring, open-minded, balanced, communicators, reflective, and risk-takers.

A few of the athletic programs available for students at Commack High School include football, volleyball, cross country, golf, soccer, and gymnastics for the fall season along with other sports for the winter and spring. This aids in providing students with the knowledge to work together as a team with one goal.
