Clarence Senior High School is located at 9625 Main Street Clarence, NY. This school serves the educational needs for Clarence, New York for grades 9-12 and it is governed by the Clarence Central School District located in northeastern part of Erie County in New York State. Over and above the diverse course offerings at Clarence Senior High School, numerous Advanced Placement (AP) courses, clubs, sports and extra curricular activities are in place to meet the many interests and aspirations of our young adults.
New state-wide diploma and graduation requirements went into effect for students who entered ninth grade in September of 2001and thereafter. In order to earn a Regents diploma, students are required to pass five Regents examinations in English, Math A, Global History, U. S. History, and a Regents laboratory Science exam. Also in effect this year, graduates are required to complete 22 units of credit, including three units in both math and science.
The Office of Curriculum and Staff Development supports and advocates for high quality, professional opportunities for our faculty and staff to continue to develop the learners. Additional responsibilities include overseeing all components of a quality district-wide curriculum, the New York State assessment and reporting requirements, and the management of federal and state grants.
