Cicero Elementary School is located at 5979 Route 31 Cicero, NY and provides education for grades K-4 in Onondaga County. They have high academic and behavior expectations for our students, and our staff works very hard to help students meet their individual goals. Cicero Elementary School is very proud of its newly renovated school, with state of the art classrooms, modern facilities, and beautiful garden and playground areas.
At Cicero Elementary, they believe that Character matters. They have a caring and involved faculty and staff who work very hard to make our school a happy and safe place for children to learn and grow. Students and staff are expected to be responsible, caring, respectful, polite, and honest. They also have a very involved Parent-Teacher group who sponsor many events throughout the year and fund many important projects for our students.
This New York public school abides by the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education. The staff includes a School Psychologist, Director of Student Support Services, and a department Secretary.
The teachers, staff, and administration are dedicated professionals that assist students in reaching their full potential. Not only are they dedicated but are available for extra assistance if and when needed.
